Welcome to the random text home page, a place to generate different types of gibberish with an intriguing logical thread. Choose from three flavors:
- Random Jesus, a generator that uses the words of Christ from the book of Mark to generate random nonsensical scripture quotes
- Random Shakespeare, which does the same for the Bard's sonnets
- Random legalese creates legal mumbo jumbo from a block of existing legal contracts
How it works: the heart of each generator is a complex algebra formula that senses the patterns between words, then scrambles them while respecting the writer's original writing style. For example, Jesus often used the words, "Truly, truly I say unto thee." The algorithym senses this common structure and repeats it with different words, as in "blindly, blindly we confess without us." It's a great way to sense some of the underlying structure in a body of writing
